LE PERCÉ
Policies & Client Care
At Le Percé, we are committed to providing a thoughtful, safe, and elevated ear-piercing and fine-jewelry experience. Please review our policies before booking an appointment. By booking, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these policies. Separate consent forms and required disclosures may also be provided before a piercing service.
1. Appointments, Cancellations & Late Arrivals
Cancellations and missed appointments
A $5 fee applies to canceled appointments and missed appointments (no-shows). This fee will be disclosed before booking and charged in accordance with applicable law.
Clients who miss an appointment may reschedule without an additional rescheduling fee. Payments made toward a canceled or missed appointment are nonrefundable, except where a refund is required by law or approved by Le Percé.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled, depending on availability and whether there is sufficient time to provide the service safely and properly. If we cannot accommodate a late arrival, we will explain the available options.
Before your appointment
Please complete any required forms and provide accurate information needed for your appointment. For clients under 18, the required parent or legal guardian authorization and documentation must be provided before service.
2. Piercing Age, Consent & Safety
Le Percé offers ear-piercing services to clients ages 4 and older, subject to applicable legal requirements, client readiness, and our safety procedures.
Ear piercings are performed using a sterile, single-use piercing needle. Before the procedure, our piercer will explain the process, discuss relevant risks and aftercare, and answer questions.
For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must participate in the consent process and provide any authorization and documentation required by applicable law and Le Percé’s procedures. We may request valid identification and proof of guardianship.
The client must be willing to proceed. We may postpone or decline a piercing if the client is unwilling or significantly distressed, required consent or documentation is missing, or we identify a safety concern.
Please inform our piercer of any relevant allergies, sensitivities, skin concerns, or other circumstances that may affect the procedure. Ear piercing carries risks, including pain, bleeding, swelling, infection, allergic reactions, scarring, and healing complications. Healing times and outcomes vary, and no particular result or healing time is guaranteed.
Our piercer will provide aftercare instructions before the appointment is completed. If you experience concerning symptoms after a piercing, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Nothing in this policy waives any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
3. Jewelry Replacement Policy
Eligible jewelry purchased directly from Le Percé may qualify for a one-time replacement if it falls out within 30 calendar days of the original purchase, subject to the terms below.
To request a replacement:
Contact Le Percé within 30 calendar days of the original purchase.
Provide proof of purchase and the original purchase date.
Provide any additional information reasonably needed to assess the request.
Replacement requests are reviewed individually. Replacement is subject to product availability and may be limited to the same item or a comparable item selected by Le Percé.
This policy does not cover jewelry that is lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged through pulling or snagging, mishandled, altered, or modified without authorization. If jewelry falls out and cannot be recovered, a replacement is not guaranteed. Jewelry purchased from another retailer is not eligible under this policy.
Unless otherwise required by law, this policy covers an eligible jewelry replacement only and does not include additional jewelry, piercing services, or installation fees. This policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
For questions or to submit a request, please contact Le Percé with your proof of purchase.
4. Piercing Aftercare
Proper aftercare is an important part of the healing process. Our piercer will explain the recommended aftercare steps and answer questions before you leave your appointment.
Clients should follow the aftercare instructions provided, wash their hands before touching the area, avoid unnecessary handling or twisting of the jewelry, and take care to prevent snagging, pressure, or irritation. Avoid changing or removing jewelry before it is appropriate to do so.
Healing times vary from person to person. Le Percé cannot guarantee a particular healing time or outcome. If you experience worsening pain, significant swelling, spreading redness, discharge, fever, or other concerning symptoms, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional promptly. If you suspect an infection, consult a healthcare professional before removing the jewelry unless you are instructed otherwise.
Following aftercare guidance can help support healing, but it cannot eliminate every risk or guarantee that complications will not occur.
5. Privacy & Personal Information
Le Percé respects your privacy. We may collect information you provide when booking an appointment, purchasing jewelry, contacting us, or completing required consent forms. Depending on your interaction with us, this may include contact information, appointment details, transaction information, and information you choose to provide that is relevant to a piercing service.
